Position 1: Cashier Accountant
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or a related field, plus five (5) years of direct related experience.
• Oversee cash transactions, cash reconciliations, account payments, account receivables, and other accounting duties in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain a daily cashier reconciliation recap and notify management of any discrepancies.
• Post payments to the appropriate account and make any necessary follow-up notes.
• Posts zero payments to the appropriate account and makes any necessary follow-up notes
• Keep a record of daily receipts and contractual postings.
• Monitor daily bank deposits to ensure they are made on time.
• Keep a petty cash drawer, log, receipts, and balances on a daily basis.
• Ensure that customer transactions are processed quickly and correctly.
• Work with the Transaction Processing Manager to balance accounts receivable to the general ledger on a daily and monthly basis.
• Follow departmental and institutional policies and procedures.
• Inform new cashiers about accounting procedures and company policies.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on the performance of cash associates.
• Identify and promptly communicate any accounting-related issues to the appropriate body.

Position 2 Senior Accountant
Qualifications and Experience: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldProven 5+ years of industry experience
Main responsibilities and duties:
• Examining the Monthly Reconciliation.
• Check and follow up on each account’s balance.
• Assist the financial manager with cash flow management (payments, collections, credit notes, etc….).
• Go to the bank to make a payment, check your balances and get your bank statement.
• Check petty cash replenishment, check payments, bank transfers, and security bonds are all available.
• Organise monthly VAT, WHT, pension, and income tax declarations in a centralised (online) system.
• Assist the finance manager in updating monthly and yearly reports on costs (fixed variable transportation energy and service), sales, and stock.
• Working with the Revenue Minister on tax clearance and VAT refunds.
• Follow up with junior accountants and provide on-the-job training.

Manager, Internal Audit Position 3
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Banking and Finance, or a related field, plus six (6) years of demonstrated experience, three (3) years in a managerial position.
Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Banking and Finance, or a related field, plus eight (8) years of demonstrated experience, four (4) of which must be in a managerial position.
• Design and update Audit Policy, as well as ensure implementation.
• Supervise the execution of internal transactional audits and quality control in accordance with established standards.
• Ensures that external auditor comments are addressed by relevant departments and service units. Risk assessment informs plan reviews/audits.
• Oversee the execution of audit procedures to ensure that controls are operational via testing and interviewing techniques.
• Examine transactions and related documents for accuracy and legitimacy.
• Conduct an analysis and draw conclusions about the effectiveness and efficiency of the control system.
• Identify control gaps and areas for improvement.
• Oversee the documentation of audit work results in accordance with applicable audit standards.
• Prepare and present audit reports to relevant stakeholders on time.
• Offer internal control advice and help to improve internal audit standards and practises.
• Assess the adequacy and quality of internal controls (systems, practises, and processes) and make recommendations for improvements.
• Give instructions on how to investigate and resolve any issues that are discovered.
• Monitor and ensure that audit recommendations are implemented.
• Review the periodic reports on the status of audit findings rectification.
• Analyse findings to ensure that the causes of recurring irregularities have been identified and to assist in the provision of appropriate corrective actions.
• Supervise the creation of periodic summary reports.
Generic Duties of the Position: • Create and implement Division plans and objectives.
• Create, approve, and monitor budgets for the Division.
• Determine the Division’s human resource needs and create a plan to meet those needs.
• Create, implement, and review divisional policies and procedures.
• Examine, approve, and submit Divisional reports to appropriate organs.
• Assist subordinates’ development through periodic performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring, ongoing performance dialogue, and feedback.
• Handle disciplinary issues involving Division employees.
• Represent the Division both internally and externally.
• Participate in group decision making by joining various groups/committees.
