Requirements for the Position
BA in Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Banking & Finance, or a related field, plus 3.5 years of banking experience, including at least one year as a Senior Customer Service Officer or equivalent position.
Branches: Logiya, Assossa, Dodolla, Arsi Negelie, and Jimma (Re-Advertised)
Important Function
- On a daily basis, ensures and confirms the accuracy of accounting records.
- Ensures that all daily transaction tickets correspond to System output.
- As directed by the CSO, authorises transactions and signs documents.
- At the time of settlement, the Original CD is retained and validated against the System.
- Validates and authorises financial instrument deposits and payments, sends and receives cheques and payment instruments from other banks to and from the Finance Department
- Keeps track of daily transactions and account opening paperwork.
