Hon. Mrs. Aynalem Nigusie, the former Vice President of the University of Wolo, Ministry of Agriculture, and Economic Cluster Coordinator in the Amhara Region, is the Minister of Revenue at the moment. She takes over for the late Hon. granting Mr. Lake Ayalew permission to study abroad.
In his message prior to the transfer of authority, Mr. Lake Ayalew thanked the senior officials and employees of the Ministry of Revenue for assisting him in carrying out his duties during his stay. He added, “I am thankful that I have been given the permission to study abroad so that I can serve the country and the people more,” as a final statement.
In addition, Honorable Ato Lake stated in a message that the senior leaders and employees of the institution are expected to collaborate with the new minister in a responsible and sincere manner in order to efficiently carry out the institution’s plan to collect more than 450 billion birr in the 2015 fiscal year and realize our nation’s vision of covering our own expenses with our income by 2022.
The institution’s appointed minister, the honorable Mrs. Aynalem Nigusie, stated that the operating system and organizational structure are robust; She also stated that the leaders and employees of the institution expected to work together with a great sense of responsibility in the effort to have a country that can cover development costs on her own.
